Thank you for pointing that out so I could make the correction. It would be fun to do an article entirely made up of Freudian slips, but I'm trying to make this space the best version of myself so at least it exists somewhere.

Wow! A few weeks? I can’t honestly say I’m surprised. FWIW about a week before Charlie Kirk’s death, I was just standing in the living room when I felt pitched into the future. It seemed that my geographical area was surrounded by chaos. I had no sense of whether it was advancing, but oh yes, it was out there. It lasted about a minute. I’m no visionary, so please take this with the appropriate amount of salt. And thank you for this excellent essay, and a place where I can post this sort of comment. What times we live in!

The exact alignment of the Neptune Saturn conjunction isn't until February 20, 2026, but to put it into perspective what we are going through at the moment is just the wind-up of a cosmic clock spring getting ready to release a whole lot of energy. Depending on where you are things could start popping off early, so I prefer to think in terms of weeks rather than months as more of a motivational thing.

Your essay has inspired us to get the struts on our 15 year old Subaru replaced. They are on the “watch” list, and our thinking is get it done in October, rather than wait until 2026. Parts and labor are available now. Who knows what lies ahead. 🙏

Excellent! Hopefully you find some good ones in stock. One of my favorite suppliers for Japanese parts is not shipping here until the tariff thing gets sorted out. Can only imagine what it would be like if there was some sort of event on top of the normal distinction.

Acceptance of a condition or state is a first step to dealing with it. "Collapse now and avoid the rush" is not easy to do, it is just easy to say.

Thanks for the reminder to post this and read it again myself. Every once in a while I have to remind my readers that these aren't my ideas. I just took what JMG did and put my own spin on it from the perspective of someone who's trying their best not to be a total horse blossom.

I have not. Love Eugyppius though. He's living proof that not all Germans are insane.
